I got some fan mail the other day!

Hey Manny. How the hell do you type with paws? I had to get Gracie to
do it for me. She's a Border Collie, and they can do anything.

Well, fan, it's very simple. Cats rule and dogs drool. Anything a dog can do, a cat can do better. Yes we can. That's why dogs need training and cat just know what to do. The smartest dog is still dumber than the dumbest cat.

To answer your question, it's very difficult to type with paws. But I do it because there are very important things I need to share with people. And so I make money. I need money for three things:

• Litter
• Thumbs
• World Domination

So here is a timely news item: China is keeping the Euro from collapsing.

Cheap Renminbi means exports to Europe are cheaper and reduces China's dependence on the US market. Niall Ferguson is working on a paper called "The End Of Chimerica" that outlines this. China already gives lots of foreign aid to Africa. It's clearly a plan for world domination. I'll have to keep an eye on a possible China/Goldman Sachs alliance. That could be very dangerous.

If Apple Is China, What Does That Make Goldman Sachs

Hi,

So, I read today that Ellen got in trouble with Apple. Apparently, she made fun of the iPhone^tm on her show. Then Steve Jobs called her and said that's not funny and she should apologize. So she did. You can see it here: http://bit.ly/bxplbv

This reminded me of somthing I read the other day about Apple being the new China. A human blogger wrote about it here: http://bit.ly/bI94Qw

He said that Apple is the Disneyland of computing. And while Disneyland is a nice place to visit, it's not a nice place to live. Disneyland is run like China. I guess that makes Steve Jobs like Mao. I wonder who the Gang of Four is at Apple. And should we be expecting a cultural revolution soon?

Anyway, I think this is kind of a big deal. But the fact that some many people care about this, and don't care about banks that are "too big to fail" is stupid. Robert Reich, a very smart, but very short human, agreez with me. He wrote about it in his blog here: http://bit.ly/bkXCYx

Basically, Mr. Reich says they Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is going after Apple and its iPhone(tm) rules. Apple has many competitors, so people have many options when it comes to phones. But right now, banks are so big, that if they get in trouble, the government has to bail them out, but the FTC can't regulate them. It's in the stupid human rules. And how did these rules get written? By bankers lobbying for them.

Now, I don't care about the iPhone^tm. I can't type on them without thumbs. But I care about banks. I think we need banking reform. We need the reform so they can hire cats, and I can get a job, make a lot of money, buy thumbs and dominate the world.
